One of the first complaints a user of this cage points out is that unlike the ferret nation/critter nation cages are that only the right side of the cage options. Another major concern is that the top level includes no plastic cover, most owners end up making a custom plastic, but with only one door opening it poses a challenge for cleaning. Some owners use blankets to cover the wire.

A worry some owners have is the high likely hood of falling through the hole in the floor on the top floor directly to the bottom, while the drop is relatively short it could still cause damage so many blankets should be left on the bottom for those clumsy enough to fall off the thin ladder.

it is undoubtedly the cost that has influenced its popularity as the cheaper build quality reflects poorly on the manufacturer who is known for high-quality bird cages.

With its downfalls in mind, this cage does meet our minimum requirements for livable space.
